Client: ADNOC ONSHORE (Previously ADCO)
Brief Description: Responsible for SCAL (Special Core Analysis) and CCA (Conventional Core Analysis) in all the assets to provide data validation for static and dynamic models, co-ordinating & supervising respective Specialists within the assets.
Responsible for ADNOC Onshore technical authority for all SCAL and reservoir core characterization using state-of-the-art tools and techniques, including Digital Rock Physics (DRP).
Promotes effective integration of key aspects of SCAL in the development of integrated models for Full Field Development Plans, and conducting reservoir studies and dynamic modelling in accordance with related technical Working System standards, Shareholder guidelines and best practices.
Assures careful planning and effective execution of reservoir studies and dynamic modelling by the asset teams.
Ensures ADNOC Onshore has, and does effectively manage its software and hardware resources for reservoir studies and SCAL, as well as DRP.
Promoting effective integration of the key aspects of reservoir core characterization and, especially, of SCAL with other disciplines, including petrophysics, geological modelling, geophysics, petroleum production engineering, EOR/IOR and drilling.
Promoting knowledge sharing and transfer of experiences related to reservoir studies and SCAL across different teams, within subsurface community and from Shareholders and the industry through forums, workshops and technology focus groups.
Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. degree in petro-technical discipline, advanced degree is preferable.
Minimum Experience: 15+ years in petro-technical discipline (Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience), of which 6 years in a specialist role. International experience is preferable.
